  • CAD Technician
    • Position Summary/Objective
      The CAD Technician prepares topographical maps used in major construction or civil engineering projects; such as highways, bridges, and flood-control projects. He/she supports our survey department in designing and drafting grading plans, water/sewer utility plans, roadway profiles and cross sections, and general civil engineering/infrastructure projects.

      Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities
      • Supports surveyors by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, and diagrams for heavy civil highway/bridge construction projects

  • Construction Manager
    • Position Summary/Objective
      Plans, directs, and coordinates engineering and scheduling activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Candidates must be used to large projects and able to oversee all field activities. Coordinates daily/weekly meeting with all the area superintendents and project engineer to develop means and methods, schedule contracting needs and long lead deliveries.     • Position Summary/Objective
      The Contract Specialist will assist with ensuring that all contractual provisions related to the project are followed, monitored, and closed.     • Position Summary/Objective
      Plans, develops and organizes the design efforts for the projects. Provide administrative and technical support and direction of design.

      Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project Engineer
    • Position Summary/Objective
      This role will be responsible for providing technical support to the construction operations on the project. Plans, directs, and coordinates engineering and scheduling activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors; typically works on medium scale projects.

      Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities
      • Manage professional staff responsible for design and project construction
      • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
      • Assist subordinate supervisors in maintaining production on budget and schedule
      • Review project estimate or plan to determine schedule, estimated job cost, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
      • Understand project documents ie: completeness or inadequacies.
      • Anticipate project needs with sufficient lead-time to avoid delay of production

      • Directly supervises employees in the Civil Construction Department
      • Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
      • Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
